Woodward Canyon Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Washinton State 2014

Woodward Canyon Estate Cabernet is made 100% from grapes from Woodward Canyon's own field, which is located on the western edge of Walla Walla among juniper, yellow pine and wormwood. Here are both old and new vines, the grapes are picked by hand, and the field is certified sustainable. Microscopic yield, towering quality.

Large Cabernets with incredible storage potential, complex Bordeaux blends, supple Merlots and luxurious whites on Chardonnay. Woodward Canyon Winery can do it all! In 1976, Rick Small planted 41 acres of wine on the family farm, where until then there was only wheat. By 1981, Woodward Canyon Winery had taken shape as Walla Walla's only second winery! Today it is a family business, and both Rick's wife and children Rick's children and wife are part of the winery. Particular emphasis is placed on field work - and it is no wonder, given that Rick's family has been farmers (and women) for four generations. The fields are all certified Salmon Safe and are being converted to organic and biodynamic agriculture.
