Alpha Omega is located in Napa Valley, California. Vineriet was founded by Robin and Michelle Baggett, who moved here in 2006. Robin had previously (1998) founded Tolosa Winery in San Luis Obispo, but was now ready to try his hand at the unique terroir a little further north in Napa Valley. However, the couple are not alone in the task: with them they also have winemaker Henrik Poulsen, who has 19 years of experience in both Europe and Napa Valley. And if you think it blades Danish, then you are absolutely right – Henrik grew up in Nexø.
Alpha Omega owns fields in Rutherford, and especially worth mentioning is Thomas Vineyard – a kind of "field laboratory" where, with advanced technology, they can make careful measurements of water, weather and maturity, as well as the eponymous Alpha Omega 1155 Vineyard (after the winery's address) where they mainly have Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.
