Chateau Chasse-Spleen Moulis en Medoc 2013
Cru Bourgeois Moulis - the castle can be traced back to 1720, when it was called Castaing Grand Poujeauxie. In 1863, Rosa Ferrière decided to change the name to Chasse-Spleen, inspired by the French poet Baudelaire, who introduced the English word Spleen (spleen) into the French language. In Greek mythology, melancholy was thought to have originated in the spleen. It is this meaning that goes again in the name of the castle: Chasse-Spleen, to dispel the melancholy with a good glass of wine. Céline Villars took over in the year 2000 and comes from the same family as the owner and pearl of castles in Bordeau
