From Le Chambertin in the north to Chevalier-Montrachet in the south, Louis Latour owns the entire 27-acre Grand Cru in Burgundy. Since its founding in 1797, the house has helped make the wines of Burgundy the most sought after in the world. In 1979 Latour took over a vineyard a little further south in Ardéche and since then one of Chabli's best and oldest houses – Simonnet Febvre – has come under Louis Latour's ownership.
