The Burgundy region of France has been home to wine ever since the Romans planted the first sticks 2,000 years ago. The wine was further developed by monks throughout the centuries, and then the Dukes of Burgundy took over. Wine production has been refined and perfected over time, resulting in one of the most iconic wine regions in the world.

In Burgundy, near the town of Pernand-Vergelesses, you will find the family-owned domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine business. The history of the wine house starts in 1879, when Pierre Arbinet established vineyards that are later handed over to son-in-law Julien Dubreuil. Today Christine Gruere-Dubreuil controls the old fields, having replaced her father - Bernard Dubreuil. Christine is the 5th generation in the family, and this old wine house is truly a family business.
