Dürnberg Eiswein Grüner Veltliner
Weinviertel Austria 2017
Eiswein
In mid-January, the frozen Grüner Veltliner grapes are harvested at minus 11 degrees and pressed immediately. This juice is gently heated until fermentation begins and this fermentation continued until the beginning of May. When the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, you get the clear fruit in the wine.
The Dürnberg winery is located in the Weinviertel area, where viticulture dates back to the 12th century in the wine village of Falkenstein, and between the 13th century and the 17th century, viticultural relations between Vienna and Brno were regulated by the Falkenstein Mining Court.
