Domaine Didier Dagueneau Blanc Etc Pouilly-Fumé 2018

This wine bears the name White Fumé de Pouilly, but is also the name that has long been used before Pouilly Fumé. Hence a fair return of things and again a property that distinguishes the famous field Didier Dagueneau.

This Pouilly Fumé is ripe, still characterized by citrus and a great minerality.
A perfect expression of Sauvignon that will delight all lovers of this grape variety, and of course "fans" of the wines from the estate Didier Dagueneau.

Dagueneau is an absolute must have of producers in the Loire. "An extremist of quality" carrying the vineyards of Pouilly on a single level.

The founder of the Domain was Didier Dagueneau. He sought to make "the best Sauvignon blanc in the world".
His vineyard methods were a combination of the demanding extremely low yields, hand-harvesting in several passages with the unusual, such as using horses to plow the soil between vines. He was described as a risk-taker and an experimenter with a perfectionist attitude to his work that seriously cut the yields to achieve greater maturity.

The domain is now owned by his 2 children: Benjamin and Charlotte.
