Domaine Sohler Phillipe Riesling Grand Cru Muenchberg Alsace 2017
Domaine Sohler Phillipe has collected 11 hectares of vineyards where the first bottle was released back in 1964 by Phillippe Sohler's uncle, and in 1995 Phillipe joined the work in the vineyards, thus traditions remained in this small winery. Since 2018, this winery has undergone organic conversion, so the mindset on the vineyard is now biodynamic.
Today, 2 daughters of Phillippe Sohler are in charge of the continuation of the vineyard.
This is a great wine that smells like dried apple and lemon peel with a nice freshness. The taste is juicy, concentrated, dry, persistent and aromatic. A nice and sour wine for the big fans of Riesling.
