Jules Descombins Meursault Bourgogne 2018
The municipality of Meursault is without a doubt very famous for their white wines, the Chardonnay grape you do not get much better than here. Pale yellow color, which after several years of ripening will change to an August-ripe cereal field. An intoxicating bouquet of bitter almonds, green leaves, breadcrumbs and winter apples, meets the nose. Stored mainly in new oak barrels, where the wine has been stirred for the first few months. The taste of this Meursault is fresh but has a delicious fatness from the oak, which leads the mind towards hazelnuts. The aftertaste is long and structured and will develop further over the next 8-15 years.
