GIN ON RIESLING GRAPES Since 2010, Capulet & Montague, started by brothers Denis Reinhardt and Erik Wimmers, has developed innovative, high-quality spirits and wines. Capulet & Montague produces wine, whiskey, rum, vermouth, gin and tonic. They are the producer behind Ferdinand's Gin, Dreyberg's Red Berry Gin and Doctor Polidori's tonic. The gin is distilled by Master Distiller Andreas Vallendar at Avadis Distillery in Wincheringen. Andreas Vallendar comes from a family that has been producing fruit liqueurs and spirits since 1824. After studying “beverage technology”, he started Avadis Distillery - a modern distillery built on traditional values. Oenologist and co-owner of the winery Dorothee Ziliken Forstmeister Geltz-Ziliken also comes from a family that has been producing wine for many years. The Ziliken family has been producing wine since 1724 and Dorothee has been part of the family business since 2007. She is especially recognized among the top Riesling wine producers, as her wines are of top quality.
