Château Saint-Pierre is still a bit of a public secret. It is one of the least known wines in the 1855 classification, although the castle boasts a long wine history that started way back in 1693. The name of the property was then "Serancan". The current name can be attributed to Baron de Saint-Pierre, who bought the castle in 1767.
This wine from Chateau Saint Pierre is aged for about 14 months on oak barrels, of which 50-60% is renewed each year.
