Plantation Rum Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel handpicks rum expressions based on local heritage and production methods. He discovered the wondrous terroir of Trinidad and teamed up with Andrew Hassel, Managing Director at West Indies Rum Distillery, to select exceptional casks from Trinidad Distillers Limited.
Both carefully chose this selection all the way from Port of Spain on Trinidad. In Plantation Rum´s signature double-ageing technique, the rum then traveledby sea to the southwest where it was matured in French oak barrels.
