Lail Blueprint Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2019 is a remarkable wine created with care and precision. It is made from 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot grapes sourced from various vineyards in Napa Valley, including Calistoga, Coombsville, Oakville, Rutherford, Stags Leap District, St. Helena, and Yountville. The wine was aged for 17 months in French oak barrels, 45% of which were new.
This Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep garnet-purple color and an aroma of wild blueberries, Morello cherries, and red and black currant jellies. There are also subtle notes of dried mint, chocolate, and cedar chest. The taste is medium to full-bodied and vibrant with crisp black fruits, supported by fine-grained tannins and a freshness that makes the wine lively. The wine has a long and lifted finish.
The production of this wine is limited, with only 2027 cases produced. It is created by a skilled team consisting of winemakers Philippe Melka and Maayan Koschitzky in collaboration with Robin Daniel Lail, Erin Lail, and Shannon Lail. This is a wine that clearly radiates quality and precision, representing Napa Valley in the most beautiful way.
