From our Estate planting in 1977 to our first vintage in 1981, Chardonnay has long been a focus of Woodward Canyon Winery. Beating the Washington State designation, this wine is a balaced blend og Celio vinyards and our own Woodward Canyon Estate vineyard. Old world inspired, this wine is hand harvested, whole cluster pressed, barrel fermented then allowed a partial malo-lactic fermention. This 100% Chardonnay is crisp, brilliant and precise.
