The Camus family has owned the estate since the 1930s, although the domaine itself dates back to 1732. The estate primarily produces Pinot Noir from an impressive selection of Gevrey-Chambertin grand cru sites, including the famous Chambertin vineyard. The property consists of 18 hectares of vineyards, ranging from the generic Bourgogne appellation to magnificent Cru vineyards. Camus has sites in Chambertin, Charmes-Chambertin, Latricieres-Chambertin, Mazoyeres-Chambertin and a small plot in Mazis-Chambertin.
