Mhoba Sugar Estate
Pure simple rum from Sugarcane Juice 2017
First limited edition bottling between Luca Gargano of Velier and the Mhoba Rum distillery. This rum is produced from Nkomazi's sugar cane juice, grown on Mhoba's own farm in the heart of the sugar cane growing area located in the Crocodile River Valley in South Africa. Distilled by Robert Greaves in self-built high reflux pot stills and aged in French oak casks from former red wine. Usually this distillery produces Single Blended (traditional column + pot still) extracted from pure sugar cane juice grown in the Crocodile River Valley in the Onderberg District of Mpumalang.
