This amarone from Bertani has aged in oak barrels for 6 years and then a minimum of 12 months in the bottle before release. They have been doing this for half a century, and the first time they produced this wine was in 1958, from Valpolicella. Bertani Domains consists of i.a. of these wineries: Bertani from the Veneto area, Trerose from the Tuscany district and San Leonino also from the Tuscany district. One of the best known and most legendary wine houses in Veneto, Italy, Bertani was founded in 1857 by brothers Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani.
