The Castellani family is one of the pillars of the Tuscan wine industry. Castellani was founded at the end of the 19th century when the winemaker Alfred decided to bottle and sell his wine. In 1903, the company was officially registered at the Chamber of Commerce in Pisa, and since then the Castellani family has exported its exquisite wines from Tuscany to most of the world. The Castellani family focuses on innovation and development, but the very basic philosophy is the same as when the ancestors started the company over 100 years ago, "the quality of a wine starts with the work in the vineyard". The company is still family-run and several generations work together in an exemplary manner to create exquisite wines.
