Echezeaux is among the most famous and sought-after Grand Crus in Burgundy at all. There are over 50 winegrowers who flock to Echezeaux's approximately 36 hectares. Capitain-Gagnerot is one of them, and their Echezeaux are treated with due care for a field of such great historical caliber. The grapes are hand-picked, sorting is strict and fermentation takes place primarily in old barrels, only 10% are new (13 months).
