Taylors 2011 Vintage Port

This port wine is produced from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca and Tinta Amarela grapes grown in the Douro Valley in Portugal. The port wine has been aged for 2 years in oak barrels. It is a port wine with nice deep purple, almost black, color as well as intense and complex aroma of black berries and violets with a touch of licorice and coffee. It has a strong and concentrated, but at the same time elegant and well-balanced fruit taste as well as an incredibly long and pleasant aftertaste. It is a well-structured port wine with lots of power, which is particularly suitable for desserts, chocolate and cheese or as a glass after a good meal.
