On 6th February 2022, Her majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, making 70 years of service til the people of the United Kingdom, the realms and the Commonwealth.
To celebrate this unprecendented anniversary, Taylor´s port, a Royal Warrant Holder to HM the Queen decided to bottle a very very old tawny port. This portwine is drawn from our extenseve reserves of the finest wood aged wines, which have been maturing in seasoned oak casks, since the Queen succeeded to the throne. Silently attesting to Her Majesty extraordinary reign as the longest serving Mornach in British history.
The component wine for this limited edition bottling have been individually selected and blended by Taylor´s blenders. The attention detail in the cellars is displayed on the palate of this extraordinary wine. The perfect glass to raise a toast to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
