Bimber Ex-Bourbon Batch 2 Single Malt London Whisky 52,2% 2020

There has been a huge amount of attention to the London-based Bimber Distillery since their first release in 2019. This attention is not least due to the least approach to the production of their whiskey, which is of course reflected in the taste of their bottlings. This bottle is called ex-bourbon oak barrel, and is of course matured in used, American oak barrels which have previously contained bourbon. This type of oak complements Bimber's fruity character, and gives a sweet, rich and dominant taste of vanilla and caramel. I perfect balance. Taste notes: Nose: Green apple and dried stone fruits along with vanilla wreaths, coconut and toasted toast.
