This is a completely unique bottling from Glendronach - aged for 25 years in the finest Pedro Ximenez sherry casks and bottled at 48.2%.

The Highland Distillery GlenDronach is one of Scotland's oldest, and it can draw an exciting historical line to the very first licenses issued for legal distillation in the Highlands. Among the founders of Glendronach was James Allardice, protégé of the nobleman directly responsible for legislation in 1823. GlenDronach was built a few years later in 1825 just outside the town of Huntly. Since then, the distillery has been burnt down, owners have changed countless times and capacity has been expanded. GlenDronach was among the last to set the floor malting and it was the very last Scottish distillery that abolished the direct heating of the boilers with coal.

GlenDronach, on the other hand, was among the very first distilleries to market the types of casks used to store whiskey, just as the distillery was among the first to open its doors to the public by establishing a visitor center on the distillery's grounds in 1973.
