Glendronach Cask Strength Batch 8 Single Highland Malt Whisky 61%

This bottling is number 8 in the line of NAS Cask Strength bottling from GlenDronach. The first came on the market way back in 2009. The whiskey is a composition of single malt from both younger and old Oloroso and PX Sherry casks. The whiskey has a deep bronze-like color in the glass. I have an intense toner of cherries, brandy and chocolate with blackberries, wild figs and Highland Toffee, as well as freshly roasted coffee beans and hazelnuts. I need mocha, caramel and hints of orange peel and roasted chestnuts.
