First distilled in 1973, Longrow is a double distilled, heavily peated single malt produced at Springbank Destillery in Campbeltown. The malt is peat dried for up to 48 hours to give the whisky a unique Campbeltown-style smoky character.
This Longrow Red Single Malt Scotch Malt Whisky has been matured for seven years in bourbon barrels followed by four years in fresh tawny port barrels. 8.400 bottles at cask strength have been produced.
As this whisky is not chill filtered a natural haze may form when it is cold but this will desappear when the temperature returns to normal.
