Organic Single Malt Whiskey 50 CL / 48.3% ABV Mosgaard Port Wine Cask Whiskey is made from organic Danish barley malt, which is malted according to our specifications and brewed according to our own methods which are optimized to produce sweetness, softness and fruit notes - the taste of Funen Single Malt Whiskey. Mosgaard has been waiting for their Port Wine Cask which is probably the only whiskey in the world that is aged exactly like this. They have made old Port wine casks for their small 50 liter fade, and I the casks they have mixed sticks from Ruby casks and Tawny casks. It does on the whiskey get balance of the vinous from Ruby and the mere spicy sweetness from Tawny and thus damage store the whiskey the whole period on port wine casks - it has been an experiment that must be fully successful!
