This third release of Port Askaig 30 years old is the first to be bottled in cask strength 51.1%
With the passing time, imperceptible changes enrich. Yet for som rare casks the whiskies take on qualities unmatched by all others. Subtle refinement, unexplained and impossible to replicate, result is exceptional whiskies unlikely to be repeated.

Port Askaig is a wonderfull harmonious marrige of honeyed sweetness & fruit with the peatsmoke that characterises great Islay Single Malt whisky. As there is no distillery called Port Askaig we deside to name our whisky after the ancient ferry port and fishing harbour situated on the east coast of the island, overlooking the stunningly beautiful Sound of Islay.
