14 years Single Malt Whisky 56.8%
The Glen Scotia "Icons of Campbeltown" series celebrates Campbeltown's rich history and legends. This is the second release in the series, and is a 14 year old single malt whisky called "The Dragon".
Inspiration and history:
"The Dragon" is inspired by the legend of the archangel Saint Michael, who, according to local folklore, killed a fire-breathing dragon. This tale is part of Campbeltown's cultural heritage and symbolizes courage and perseverance. The whisky is also a tribute to the strength of the local community, especially in times when fires threatened the distilleries. This 14-year-old single malt is medium-peat smoked and matured for six months in exclusive ex-Barolo red wine casks. It gives the whiskey a unique depth and elegance that can only be experienced with Glen Scotia's craftsmanship. Bottled at cask strength with an alcohol percentage of 56.8%, this limited edition is a perfect addition to any collection – or as an unforgettable gift.
