Danish whisky is in a golden age. One distillery after another fires up brand new copper boilers and fills casks from morning to night. Several have already become internationally famous! Stauning, the famous West Jutland success story, is from 2006 and thus the oldest of the new Danish distilleries. Braunstein, which is located in Køge, brewed beer as early as 2005, but they only started making whiskey in 2007. Thy Whisky, was founded back in 2010 out of curiosity and a dream to create something unique from our own fields.
