Lakrids by Bülow
Johan Bülow comes from a family of entrepreneurs and always knew he wanted to create something special. He threw his passion on licorice - a Scandinavian favorite that he did not feel was valued enough and deserved to be taken seriously. He put the hours into it, learned the craft the hard way, and in 2007 he was ready to cook, roll and cut his very first product.
On 07.07.07, the first Liquorice City Johan Bülow store opened in Svaneke. The idea was to boil the licorice in the shop, and make sure you could smell it 100 meters away. It worked and everything was sold out in two hours. The last customer even bought the dish with tastings on the counter.
