Plantation Single Cask rums are limited releases of double-ageing Haute Croture rums, first aged in Bourbon cask in the tropicsm then further aged in French oak Ferrand cask in the southwest of France. Award winning Cellar Master Alexandre Gabriel (named World´s Best Rum Master Blender in 2012) raises each barrel individual using ancestral French ageing, elevage techniques.,: While all Plantation rums are double-aged, the Single Cask rums benefit from a further maturation on carefully selected beer, wine or spirits casks, each matched to enhance the rum. Each Single Cask rums take unique ageing path to greatness, and bottle is personalized and numbered. Only a few barrels of these unique reserve rums are bottled annually, making it a collection piece.

Nose: Very original, its starts on a smoky, peaty and earthy profile with black pepper. It then evolves on lemon peel, butterscotch and nougat.
Palate: Rich and complex, it offers a fruitier profileof cooked peat, peach and starfruit with notes of nutmeg, vanilla and macchiato and a hint of malted barley.
Finale: Long on licorice, long pepper and tropical fruits.
