This is true Jamaican pot still rum with all the intensity, ester profile and depth that has made Clarendon world-famous among connoisseurs. 26 years of barrel maturation has rounded and refined the rum’s power, but without removing the distinctive Jamaican signature. At 56.9% strength, it delivers both concentration and structure – a rum that demands attention and rewards contemplation.

Only 270 bottles have been bottled from cask 433943, making this release a true collector’s item. The Spirit of Art series is known for combining exceptional rum with artistic etiquette – content and expression go hand in hand.

Tasting notes

Color: Deep amber with copper tones.

Aroma: Intense and complex with classic Jamaican notes of overripe tropical fruit, pineapple, banana and mango, combined with licorice, spice, oak and lightly toasted sugar.

Flavor: Powerful and structured with concentrated fruit, dark caramel, cocoa, spices and a distinctive but well-integrated cask character. The pot still distillation adds depth and a slightly funky character that is beautifully balanced by the many years of aging.

Finish: Extremely long, warm and complex with lingering tropical fruit, oak and spicy sweetness.
