S.B.S. – Single Barrel Selection

1423 - World Class Spirits is a premium spirits importer that started back in 2008. 1423's head office is located in Ringe, and is home to hundreds of rum barrels. This was a hobby project from the start, but has since become a big business. In addition to the many barrels of rum, they also bring many different distillers to Europe, as well as their passion for rum through one of the S.B.S. Own brands such as 1423, which are single barrels from all over the world. Over the last 4 years alone, more than 50 different expressions, of different rum styles and origins, have already been released.
All expressions are bottled at high ABVs, some at cask strength. 1423's rum is either sourced directly from distilleries or from a rum broker, after which the barrels are sent to Denmark, where they are stored in their own warehouse. Depending on the available rum and casks, every now and then they decide to fill the rum into a new cask to give it a finish that suits the rum's flavor profile. Here, each barrel is inspected individually and remains in their warehouse until they judge that the rum is of top quality. Once the rum reaches this peak, it is hand-bottled in their warehouse, completing the cycle of the craft in a way they see fit.

The Oskar Rum is crafted to honor the founder of Oskar Davidsen´s & Co.
This Grand Reserve Blend 88 has blend carefully selected by our master blender and is made on equal parts of pure dedication, genuine passion and ages of expertise.

For our Blend 88, we selected our best Jamaican rum from distillers such as Hampden and Monumusk and our premium Guyanese rum from distillers Uitvlugt and Enmore. This blend is unique and worthy of being our tribute to the company founder, hence named The Oksar.
Our X.O. The Oskar Rum displays the ideal balance between Jamaican and Guyanese rums of different ageing. The name of the blend - Blend 88 - is a reflection of not only the founding year but also the part of the rum was distilled in 1988, when Oskar Davidsen celebrated 100 years anniversary, and hence hace aged more than 30 years in oak cask prior to blending. A part of the blend has also matured in oak casks which have previously held Cognac in order to bring extra uniqueness into the blend. The Oskar Rum has been kept at cask strength in order to retain all its distinctive flavours and character.

There are only produced 1888 bottles of The Oskar Rum as a worthy tribute to the founder and the founding year of Oskar Davidsen & Co.

Davidsen´s is a series of premium blends name after the founding of the company Oskar Davidsen & Co. Built on the same proud traditions and focus on quality as when founded in 1888, our reserve blends are made from exclusive rums that has been rigorously selected by our master blender and imported from Jamaican and Guyanese distillers.

Our X.O. Black Label Reserve - Blend 15 - is our most intense and flavourful blend made with reserve rums of which a part has aged up to a minimum of 15 years in casks prior to blending. The blend is truly dark and deep and appraise the traditions of dar Jamaican and Guyanase rum. Its increased yet balanced sweetness enhances the blends pleasing tropical flavors and makes for a lingering finish.

Fanø Spirits

The seahorse is an extra cute ship's room. The taste is round and balanced with sweet notes of vanilla, muscovado and orange. The ship's rum is aged in port wine casks on Fanø and provides a taste experience that will send you from Fanø to exotic climes - and back again.

Fanø ship rum is a spirit that builds on the more than 300-year-old ship tradition. Spirits were for centuries an important part of the sailors' provisions on the large sailing ships and part of the crew's remuneration. Fanø ship's rum is rum with spices - distilled in Jamaica and subsequently seasoned with natural and local ingredients and aged in port casks at Fanø.

Distilled using both pot and column distillation, this rum has spent at least 8 years in barrels at the distillery, giving it a deep and complex flavor.

After maturing in white oak casks at the distillery, this rum was finished in ex-sherry PX casks for 11 months. This extra phase has given the rum a pleasant sweetness and delicate sherry notes that perfectly complement the original character of the Foursquare distillate.

Doorly's Rum has been made on the Island of Barbados since 1908, and was remarkably the the first rum brand ever to exported from the island. Aged in American whiste oak casks for a full 12 years, this rum has a complex character with a delicate aroma that can only come from time.

The choice of Macaw as our icon dates back to the founder, Martin Doorly, who originally chose the beautiful Scarlet Macaw to appear on the very first bottles of Doorly´s rum. True to his legacy we continue to choose a Macaw for each expression of Doorly´s rum. The extrememly rare Spix Macaw, also known as the Little Blue Macaw, is throught to be extinct in the wild and is our choice to adorn Doorly´s 12 year old rum.

7 years Cask Strength Rum 61,2%

Our favorite Jamaican rum, at its most natural and new expression: Bottled for the first time at cask strength, and etirely aged in tropical climate. The intense, very estery and typical aroma of cinnamon, orange rind, camphor and nutmeg leads to a very dry and peppery. Palate: Again cinnamon, and then cloves, liquorice and medicinal hersb. In the end, a vegetal and salty aftertaste leaves the palate clean. As bold and uncompromising as a Jamaican rum can be, the ultimate test for lovers of mind blowing experiences.

Rum Nation - Dominican Republic
8 Years Old rum 40,9%

Our 8 years old Dominican Republic rum is born from fresh sugarcane, grown in the plantations around a highly modern and eco friendly distillery in the Dominican Republic. A rum that is fresh and vibrant, with sweet notes of chocolate, pear and pineapple. Althrough being a Spanish-style rum due to its country of origin, this rum while having the sweeter notes of ripe fruots, at the same time has a freshness from the sugarcanes, which adds hints of eucalyptus and fresh green fruits to both the nose and the taste. Rum Nation Panama

Made by the most reowned distillery in Panama according ti the traditional recipe, this is a particularly fresh and light rum, in the typically easy-going Latin style. Column still distillation of the sweetness molasses and maturation in bourbon casks account for a particularly fragrant and agreeable aromas, with notes of sun-dried raisins and chocolate. Its lightness, delicate sweetness, clean taste and softness make it perfect.

Rum Nation Demerara #14is born from sugar cane molasses in British Guyana, as a skilled blend of various vintages from pot stills (to give it full bodied richness) and column stills (for a lighter backbone of crisp drinkability), Main ageing its in ex-bourbon american oak barrels for creamy sweetness, then a 12 months period into fresh sherry butts. (Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso) enhances irs spicy character. A small precentage of very old Enmore rum is finally added to the blend for further complexity.

Ron Millonario XO
Reserva Especial Peru 40%

This rum is the big brother of Ron Millonario 15, and is a blend of 15-20 year rums. Ron Millonario XO has won the award as the World's Best Rum in both 2008 and 2009, so here we are dealing with a really delicious rum.

Ron Millonario is produced at a distillery in the northern part of Peru. Distillery Pomalca in the town of Chiclayo.

Smell: A scent of sweetness and tropical fruits hits the nose first, then a spicier note with tobacco and dried fruits takes over

Taste: The taste is pleasantly sweet to begin with, but notes of caramel, date and fig. Then a note of cloves emerges on the tongue to become delicious and sweet again

Aftertaste: The rum finishes with a pleasant sweetness of brown sugar, faint spices and oak cask

Millonario 15 years solera
Reserva Especial Peru 40%

This is the first in the series from Ron Millonario, and is still considered the brand's flagship product. It is particularly well known among many spirit lovers and is really good for you, who may be about to start your adventure within the rum world.

Ron Millonario produces at a distillery in the north of Peru. Distillery Pomalca in the town of Chiclayo. This is a spirit, as the residual sugar exceeds 20 gr/l. And the 15 years is an average age of what is in the bottle.

Aroma: A deep, rich and persistent aroma in the nose of candied fruits, cocoa, coconut, plum and cloves

Taste: The palate is initially met by cloves, after which the taste becomes sweeter and fuller and contains flavors of syrup, toffee, rosin, fig, date caramel and dark brown sugar

Aftertaste: The taste ends with an almost cake-like aftertaste that lasts, but which ultimately leaves the palate with a fresh feeling
