Tasting notes:
Nose: An exotic dessert: pineapple, mango, ripe honeydrew melon with vanila cream, accompanied by milk chocolate with orange crunch and coconut. Later, a loverly light spicy note comes to the fore.
Taste: The melon salad flambés from th enose, but there is also a delightfully light herbal note, which balances the sweet fruit taste.
Finish: A mild, spicy note from the barrek emerges gradually.
Riise´s weird and wonderful creatures:
Riise´s vast collection of herbs, plants and conches can now be found on the Zoological Museum in Copenhagen, as well as in museums in Stockholm and Oslo. A wide range of animal species are named after the reowned Danish scientist and phamacist.
The clypeaster Riisei Lütken is a small sea urchin that was found around Panama and described by Dr. Lütken in scientific papers from the Danish nartural History Society in Copenhagen in 1863.
