Provolo Campotorbian Ripasso Valpolicella Superiore 2019 DOC Veneto

Since 1927, Provolo has been working on this land and producing wine.
Our vineyards and our house are located in the heart of the hilly valley of Mezzane, a small town a few kilometers east of Verona that has been able to keep its rural identity intact. The area around Verona - a city with a thousand years of history - consists of rolling hills that, like the ones we provide, make way for the Alps to the north and the magnificent Lake Garda to the west. This very special combination of geographical position and microclimate has always promoted historical, artistic and productive development.
Wine vocations of these countries have been famous since Roman times; from the distant era to the present day, the intricate mosaic of vineyards that make up the landscape has not ceased to enchant travelers and give palates extraordinary wines like the famous amarone.

For three generations, day after day, harvest after harvest, we have learned about wine and its fine balance with the environment. From father to son without ever forcing time and nature, we have learned to take care of our work on land and in the basement with conscientiousness and attention.
We have seen the birth and growth of our wines, and with them the awareness has been born and increased that the right balance between complexity, structure and longevity is a quality that goes far beyond numbers.

Sharing a glass of wine is the first and oldest gesture of hospitality of our peasant culture, for this reason the doors to our vineyard will always be open to those who want to come and touch the seriousness and passion of our work.
