Old Perth 1996/2021 Vintage Collection Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is an example of blended whisky that pays tribute to the old school and the city of Perth's historical connection to blended whiskey production. Here are some important details about this whisky:

Vintage: This whiskey is from 1996 and was bottled in 2021. The vintage indicates the year the whisky was distilled and the bottling is the year it is ready for consumption.

Type: It is a blended malt whisky, which means that it is made by mixing different single malt whiskys from different distilleries. This can create a flavor profile that combines the characteristics of different malt whiskies.

History: The name "Old Perth" refers to the city of Perth's historical importance as the center of blended whisky production. Originally, the Old Perth blend was created in 1908 as a tribute to the city. It is known to have a significant proportion of sherry-aged whisky, giving it a rich and full-bodied taste.

Producers: The Old Perth name and history have been carried on by the Morrison whisky family who run it today. They have developed a range of whiskys that have been blended in Perth, selecting specially selected single malt whiskies. These whiskeys all originate from the Glenlivet region of Speyside and are aged exclusively in sherry casks.

Old Perth 1996/2021 Vintage Collection Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is a whisky that bears witness to the history and tradition of blended whisky production and is known for its full and distinctive taste thanks to the use of sherry casks.

Kilkerran Campbeltown
Glengyle Distillery

Michelle´s Glyngyle Ltd. are very proud to be continuing and adding to the great Campbeltown Distilling tradition and the choice of name reflect that.
Kilkerran is derived from the Gaelic ´Ceann Loch Cille Chiarain´ wich is the name of the original settlement where Saint Kieran had his religious cell and Campbeltown now stands. Kilkerran is thought to be a suitable name for a new Cambeltown Malt since it was unusual for the old Campbeltown distilleries to be called after a Glen, a custom more usually associated with the Speyside region.
