This wine is made from 2 grapes. 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Franc. These were the first grapes planted back in 2004. The aromas coming out of these grapes are ripe and dark blackberry, tobacco and leather components, some crushed stone and the slightly herbal approach.
La Mekerra Vineyards, has aged for 19 months in French oak, where 65% is new. It was bottled in June 2019 and was only released in September 2020.
