Va Piano Syrah Les Collines is a beautiful and perfect red wine from Walla Walla, Washington. It is made from 100% Syrah from the field Les Collines – which Va Piano itself calls their favorite of the fields that are not their own. Les Collines is one of the highest fields in Walla Walla, and also one of the leaders in "minimal input farming".
Va Piano Vineyards is located in Walla Walla in Washington, USA. The company was founded by Justin Wylie, who as a native Walla Walla'rian had the thriving vineyards literally in the backyard. Like so many others, he was drawn to the magic of the grapes and began making wine in his garage. It wasn't long before the passion could be made a living, and in 2003 Va Piano was founded.
Va Piano works with a number of sovereign fields in Walla Walla, and especially worth bnævne is the eponbyme Va Piano mark, which is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Cab Franc & Petit Verdot. 70% of the grapes use Va Piano itself, while the rest is sold to other houses, such as L'Ecole #41.
