Chateau Laniote Grand Cru Classe Saint-Emilion 2016

Château Laniote has been in the family of Arnaud de la Filolie for almost centuries. The property was created in 1816 by a wine merchant in Saint-Emilion named Pierre Lacoste, who bought a cellar and some adjoining vines, and then gradually expanded the property through 1844.

The property was then transferred in a direct line from mother to daughter for eight generations. The owner's name thus changed for each inheritance: Lacoste, Rouja, Freymond, Schneider, La Filolie.
