Balcones Texas Rye is the culmination of our love for rye, constant curiosity, and our personal drink to make the best spirit we can. We wanted to work with a style we love while bringing some new subtlety and perspectiveto our approach. Our 100% rye mashbill began with Elbon Rye from Northwest Texas accompanied by some crystal, chocolate and roasted rye that give us a rich, sweet mid-palate and layers of chocolate over leather, tobacco, oak and spice notes.
