Since 1894, the Fillioux family has owned the beautiful Domaine de La Pouyade. Christophe Fillioux, fifth-generation creator of Jean Fillioux Cognac, recently took up the reins of the family estats, with his wife Virginie, an oenologist engineer, at his side. In order to leave his mark and celebrate this event, Christofhe has imagined «Kristof V», a unique creation of cognacs roughly around his own age, which he carefully selected and blended. This decanter is unpretentious yet sophisticated, to accentuate rather than overshadows the cognac. Its also represents a link to tradition: Christophe was seduced by the charming aesthetic of 500 old decanters from his grandfather´s era, which were sureprisingly discovered at the estate.
