Wint & Lila reportedly has roots in 17th century shipping between America and Spain where they sailed gin from Europe to America and rum from the Caribbean to Europe and therefore the bottle is also adorned with a cargo ship logo. The distillery is also Spain's oldest and therefore has proud traditions such as their water bath distillation process which gives the gin a soft spirit taste and at the same time ensures a more natural taste of the botanicals involved as the process preserves more of the natural oils in it.
