Viberto Barolo Ravera Riserva 2014
Viberto Giovanni 2014
Barolo Ravera Riserva DOCG
Grape: 100% Nebbiolo
Vineyard: Ravera in Barolo
Aging: Up to 46 months of cask aging, as well as 12 months of bottle aging before it is released. In 2013, Viberto collaborated with the Cravero family of Barolo, who gave Viberto ownership of this beautiful vineyard characterized by white marl and an exposure to full midday sun. Its uniqueness immediately led us to bottle it individually despite the leased management. The good fortune of having started its cultivation in the splendid and long-lived vintage of 2013 immediately made us know the potential, the limits and the facets of this special cru in the municipality of Barolo. The story of the Viberti Giovanni winery begins when Cavalier Antonio Viberti buys the Locanda del Buon Padre. It was the year 1923 when Antonio began producing wine for the guests of his Locanda in the cellar. Today, the Viberti Giovanni winery continues its history with the third generation, where Claudio, the youngest son, is directly involved in winemaking and management.
