Gould Campbell – Tradition and Craftsmanship Since 1797
Founded in Porto in 1797 by the Irishman Garret Gould, Gould Campbell has built a reputation for outstanding Vintage Ports over the centuries. Without owning specific vineyards in the Douro, Gould Campbell has always had the freedom to select the absolute best grapes from the finest areas, such as the Pinhão and Rio Torto Valleys. This allows for unparalleled flexibility in crafting unique and characterful wines.
Although Gould Campbell is a smaller producer, their Vintage Ports are known for surprising in blind tastings. Their 1977 Vintage Port, in particular, is regarded as one of the most iconic ever.

Vintage port from 1994, is made from 4 different quintas, where Quinta dos Malvedos provides the structure to the port and has done so since 1820 when Grahams was founded.

early 1820 Graham's traded in textiles. However, a customer could not pay his overdue bill to the company's branch in Porto, and he therefore had to accept 27 pipes (casks) of port wine as payment. However, the wine was sold with such great success that the company was even encouraged to repeat the trade. Grahams quickly built up a good reputation in port wine, and by the end of the 19th century it was not only one of the greatest shippers, but also one of the most recognized. In 1882, the young Scot, Andrew James Symington, was hired, but after a few years, he moved on into the world of port wine. But - when Graham's had financial problems in 1970 and thus a need for capital injections, Symington's grandchildren took the opportunity to buy the house. Today, the Symington family holds a very central position in port wine, as they now own a number of the best houses. Robert Parker also had the following comment on Graham's: "The most consistent producer of great port in the post worldwar 2 era". Late Bottled Vintage differs from Vintage Port in two points. On the one hand, it is produced in both declared and undeclared vintages, and on the other hand, it undergoes 4-6 years of storage in oak barrels before being bottled. This provides a more open and welcoming Gate, and unlike the Vintage Gate, it does not need additional storage to show its full potential.

10 Year Old Tawny

To produce our extraordinary selection of Tawny Ports, time-honoured skills, craftsmanship and dedication are handed down from generation to generation in the form of three art of coopering and the art of ageing. Graham´s 10 Year Old Tawny is our tribute to craftmanship and demostrates our commitment to precision and excellence. After a decade of care and slow maturation in seasoned oak casks, this wine is a wonderfull example of the complex nutty and mature fruit flavours of Tawny Port.

Graham's 10 year old Tawny Port is dark red with a light brownish tinge at the edge. The scent has shades of dried figs, herbs and dark chocolate. The taste is rounded but still with a little bit of tannin.

Single Harvest Tawny Port

1994 was a outstanding year in the Douro, producing among the most memorable port wine of the second half of the 20th century. Peter Symington, then Graham´s head winemaker, selected some of the finest wines from Quinta dos Malvedos, which he earmarked for long.term ageing in seasoned oak casks in Graham´s Lodge. Peter´s son, Charles joined the company in 1995 to begin his long apprenticeship in the tasting room, learning from his farther the highly skilled craft of tasting and blending. Charles, witnessed the development of the 1994 wines from the earliest stages of their extended ageing in seasoned wood, and he has selected only the finest casks for this limited edition.

Graham's Six Grapes Reserve Port

The Six Grapes symbol has always been used by Graham's to classify its wines on a scale from one to six, Six Grapes therefore denotes the highest quality lots. The grapes with the most concentration, structure and clearest fruit are sourced from Graham's four key properties. Six Grapes is a full-bodied wine with rich black fruit flavors, fragrant cherries and ripe plum aromas. The perfect accompaniment to dark chocolate desserts, and no need to decant.

This port wine from Grahams is the grapes from 2021, from the hand-built stone terrace, as the wine has also been called. It is at the estate Quinta dos Malvedos and their fields that these grapes come from. It is aged until 2023 and therefore it will also be released in 2023. It is very rare that Grahams make this vintage port, as it is actually only 5 times that they produce this version.

Hutcheson Port

This older tawny from Hutcheson is from 1966, and is kept in casks until 2016. Hutcheson Feuerheerd & Associados was founded in 1881 by two Britons, Thomas Page Hutcheson and Alexander Davidson Taylor. They passed to the Portuguese Barros family in the 1920s. In 1996 the company Hutcheson merged with Feuerheerd Bros. In 2006, the Sognevinus Group took over control of the vineyards and production.

Kopke 40 years old
Tawny Port

Deep amber in colour, with a greenish rim. On the nose it is complex, with notes of dried fruits, like raisins, fig and walnut, wrapped in subtle hints of vanilla and honey. On the palate, it is dense, silky and concentrated, with impressive freshness. A powerful and particularly enduring finish.
