Tasting notes

Nose: Soft and enticing with sweet vanilla, creamy buttercream, ripe fruit tree apples and golden raisins. Delicate floral nuances and a light confectionery touch add elegance.

History of the house

Glencadam was founded in 1825 in the historic Royal Burgh of Brechin in the Eastern Highlands. The distillery is known for its uncompromising respect for tradition, classic dunnage lagers and a house style that consistently focuses on elegance, fruitiness and purity.

A distinctive feature of Glencadam is the distillery’s unique pot stills with upward-facing lie pipes, which allow only the lightest alcohol vapors to continue in the process.
