Graham’s 50 Year Old Tawny Port – A legendary port with half a century of perfection

Graham’s 50 Year Old Tawny Port is one of the most impressive and rare port wines from the historic port house of Graham’s. This exclusive tawny port is the result of more than five decades of aging in small oak barrels, slowly developing a unique complexity, elegance and depth. It’s a port made for those special moments – a wine that shows what time, craftsmanship and passion can create in the Douro.

In Graham’s famous cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, this port matures patiently in spicy oak barrels. Here, the wood, oxygen and time all influence the wine, giving it its distinctive tawny style with nutty nuances, silky smooth texture and an incredibly long finish. The result is a port with refinement, complexity and a balance that can only be achieved through decades of aging.

Every drop of Graham’s 50 Year Old Tawny Port is carefully selected and blended by the house Master Blenders. The blending is overseen by two generations of the Symington family – Peter and Charles Symington – who carry on Graham’s proud tradition of precision and perfection in the art of maturing and blending port.

This port is an experience in itself and is best enjoyed at leisure. It can be served slightly chilled in a good port glass, allowing the wine’s complex aromas to truly unfold.

The history of Graham’s

Founded in 1820, Graham’s is one of the world’s most recognized port houses today. The house is famous for its rich, elegant and age-worthy Ports, which have set the standard for quality in the Douro for generations.

The Symington family, who now run Graham’s, have refined the art of aging and blending tawny port wines for decades. The combination of exceptional grapes from the Douro Valley, long aging periods in oak barrels and blending expertise produces wines with a depth and complexity that few Port houses can match.
