Rozès Rosé Port – Fresh and Elegant Rosé Port from Douro

Rozès Rosé Port is a modern and seductive port with freshness, fruit and finesse in focus. This elegant rosé port combines the character of the Douro region with a light and silky style, making it perfect as an aperitif or with light desserts.

Made from the classic Douro grapes Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, the wine has a beautiful, eye-catching pink color with a subtle ruby tinge. The aroma is delicate and complex with notes of fresh pomegranate, cherry and red berries. The taste is fresh, soft and harmonious with a long and pleasant finish.

Rozès Rosé Port is particularly suited to frozen desserts, fresh fruit and light cakes – but really comes into its own when served chilled over ice with a strip of orange peel for a sophisticated aperitif.

History of the house

Rozès was founded in 1855 in Bordeaux by M. Ostende Rozès and a few years later began trading in port wine – a success that was largely due to his son Edmond Rozès. In 1938, the house established itself in Vila Nova de Gaia and quickly became known for its high quality.

After a break during World War II, production resumed in 1959. Since then, the house has been owned by several prominent players, including Pedro Domecq, Moët Hennessy and today the champagne company Vranken Monopole. Throughout the years, Rozès has maintained its focus on quality and classic Douro character.
