Tasting notes

Color: Deep amber gold with mahogany nuances and beautiful viscosity.

Aroma: Extremely complex with layers of dried figs, raisins, walnuts, orange peel, spices and fine, noble oxidation.

Flavor: Silky and concentrated with notes of caramel, roasted nuts, dried fruit, honey and subtle spicy notes from the long barrel aging.

Finish: Very long, elegant and persistent with a perfect balance between sweetness, acidity and cask.

This Very Old Tawny Port should be enjoyed slightly chilled at 12-16°C, preferably in a large port glass to allow its complex aromas to unfold. Perfect to finish a big meal, with mature cheeses or as an exclusive meditation wine.
