This exclusive 2025 edition has been carefully curated by the distillery’s Master Distiller, who has selected some of the most distinctive and aromatic marks from Hampden’s iconic stock. The rum is distilled in traditional copper pot stills and aged 100% tropically in Trelawny, Jamaica. The tropical maturation provides a depth and intensity that cannot be replicated anywhere else. Bottled at a full 57% alcohol – exactly how Hampden should be experienced – without filtration or additions.

Tasting notes

Aroma: Explosive and aromatic with ripe pineapple, banana and fresh lime. Under the surface you’ll find vanilla, sugar cane juice, acetone and that distinctive Jamaican funk.

The history of the house

Founded in 1753, Hampden Estate is one of Jamaica’s oldest and most respected distilleries. The estate is home to the iconic Great House, built in 1779, which was previously used to store rum on the first floor.
