Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2022, this rum has been aged for a full 15 years. First, 13 years of tropical aging in Bourbon barrels in Guyana, where heat and moisture provide maximum cask influence and deep concentration. Then 1 year in Ferrand casks in Europe, which adds finesse and structure. Finally, 7 months maturation in Teeling Single Malt Irish whiskey casks for added complexity and an exciting twist in the finish.

The combination of tropical power and European elegance creates a rum with impressive depth. The high strength gives intensity and a long finish, but the balance is maintained. It’s a rum for connoisseurs who want structure, layers and personality in the glass.

Tasting notes

Nose: Rich and woody with spices like clove, cinnamon and pepper. Notes of tar, smoked molasses, roasted chestnut, dark berries and thyme honey.
Flavor: Round and fruity with orange, peach and plum. Hints of maple syrup and leather add depth.
Finish: Starts with a hint of whisky. Then apples, grainy notes and herbal notes, finishing dry and elegant.
